Natalie Keener

Communications Specialist

Natalie is an East Tennessee native and recent graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While earning her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in educational leadership studies, Natalie was an intern with the UT System Office of Communications and Marketing, working on such projects as Our Tennessee magazine, the Substance Misuse and Addiction Resource for Tennessee (SMART) Policy Network and support for social media initiatives. Natalie says her favorite part of her position is the ability to work alongside a great team on a variety of projects each day.

During her time at UT Knoxville, Natalie served as president of Kappa Delta sorority and held various other leadership positions. In these roles, Natalie learned the value of leadership and being a true cheerleader for one’s organization and carries these values into her new role as a communications specialist.

Natalie enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as traveling. In her free time, she prefers to spend it eating Mexican food, sitting by the pool or exploring her city.
