Michael Folkerth

Graphic and Web Designer

Michael comes to the University of Tennessee System with two years of graphic design and marketing experience and six years of public affairs experience with the U.S. Army. Prior to joining UT, he served as a graphic designer for a compounding pharmacy in Houston, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Ouachita Baptist University and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the University of Houston.

While originally from east Tennessee, he has moved 16 times and spent more than 13 years overseas across six different countries.
