Jennifer Sicking

Director of Publications

With an award-winning background in journalism and media relations, Jennifer brings extensive experience to her position as assistant director of media relations. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from West Texas A&M University and her Master of Arts in English-Creative Writing from Indiana State University.

Before the native Texan moved to Tennessee to join the UT family, she sojourned in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she worked as associate director of media relations/magazine editor at Indiana State University, and Fort Smith, Arkansas, where she worked as advancement editor for the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.

When not working on a creative writing piece, reading a book or playing fetch with her cat Millie and dog Harley, Jennifer can be found outside hiking, gardening or riding her bike.
