Angie King

Administrative Coordinator

Angie brings 35 years of professional experience to the Communications and Marketing team, with more than 30 of those years at UT. Angie has held multiple titles at UT and has received various recognitions for her dedication to the University, including the UT Foundation Board of Directors Award for exemplary performance and outstanding achievements.

Angie joined the Communications and Marketing department in 2019. She brings a unique, loyal and fun-loving personality to the team. Her favorite part about working in this department is the people with whom she gets to work with.

A little-known fun fact about Angie is that she is a distant cousin to the Walker Sisters of Great Smoky Mountains National Park fame.

When she is not hard at work, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, riding on the back of a motorcycle, farming, crafting and playing with her cavapoo, Nugget. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter, Ashlee and son-in-law, Tyler, and their two golden-doodles, Susan and Kevin.
